Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026 · Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BizPing (“BizPing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by DT International (“Company”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our WhatsApp Business messaging platform, including our website, dashboard, API, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

BizPing is a business-to-business SaaS product. Our customers (“Customers” or “Workspaces”) use the Service to manage contacts, message templates, and WhatsApp campaigns. This policy applies to (1) individuals who register for or use a BizPing account, and (2) individuals whose information is uploaded to or processed through the Service by a Customer (“End Contacts”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and workspace information

When you create a BizPing workspace or sign in, we collect:

  • Workspace name
  • Your name and email address
  • Account credentials (passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes)
  • Your role within the workspace (for example, owner or member)

1.2 Contact and audience data (provided by Customers)

Customers may upload or enter information about their End Contacts, including:

  • Name
  • Phone number (in E.164 format)
  • Email address, postal address, and other optional profile fields
  • Group memberships and custom notes or details
  • Opt-in or opt-out status, including when and how consent was recorded

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect and use End Contact information and to send WhatsApp messages in compliance with applicable law and Meta's policies.

1.3 Messaging and campaign data

When Customers use the Service to send or receive WhatsApp messages, we process:

  • Message content (template text, free-form replies, and message bodies)
  • Message metadata (direction, type, delivery/read status, timestamps, error codes)
  • Campaign names, scheduling details, recipient lists, and template variable values
  • Meta/WhatsApp message identifiers returned by the Cloud API

1.4 WhatsApp Business configuration data

To connect WhatsApp Business numbers, we store:

  • WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) identifiers
  • Phone number identifiers and display numbers
  • Encrypted Meta System User access tokens used to call the WhatsApp Cloud API
  • Usage metrics such as daily send quotas, quality ratings, and tier limits

1.5 Webhook and technical data

We receive and store webhook payloads from Meta related to inbound messages, delivery status updates, and template status changes. We also automatically collect standard technical information when you use the Service, such as IP address, browser or device type, log data, and session authentication tokens.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and enforce workspace-level access controls
  • Send, queue, schedule, and track WhatsApp messages on behalf of Customers
  • Store message history and campaign delivery progress
  • Manage templates, contacts, groups, and phone number quotas
  • Process webhooks from Meta and sync message or template status
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • Communicate with account holders about the Service

We do not sell personal information.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable, we rely on contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent.

For End Contact data, the Customer (not BizPing) is typically the data controller. BizPing acts as a processor/service provider on the Customer's instructions.

4. How We Share Information

4.1 Meta / WhatsApp

The Service integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Message content, phone numbers, template data, and related metadata are transmitted to Meta to deliver messages. Meta's processing is governed by its own terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Meta Privacy Policy.

4.2 Infrastructure and service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to host and operate the Service, including cloud hosting, PostgreSQL database, and Redis queue/cache services. These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

4.3 Within a Customer workspace

Information uploaded to a workspace is accessible to authorized users of that workspace according to their assigned role.

4.4 Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Account data is retained while your workspace is active. Contact and message data is retained while the Customer maintains the data in the Service.

6. Security

We implement measures designed to protect information, including:

  • Encryption of WhatsApp API access tokens at rest (AES-256-GCM)
  • Hashed storage of account passwords
  • Workspace-scoped data isolation (including row-level security in the database)
  • Access controls limiting exposure of credentials to the frontend

7. International Data Transfers

We and our subprocessors may process and store information in countries other than where you or End Contacts are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your account information, object to or restrict certain processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

If you received a WhatsApp message sent through BizPing, the organization that sent the message is usually responsible for your personal data. Contact that organization directly to opt out of future marketing messages.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The BizPing dashboard may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage to maintain your session and theme preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Service.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
